About Emily Woods.

 Hi! I am seventeen years old, so I still live it home with my parents, older brother, chickens, cat, and axolotl. I'm not entirely sure why the axolotl likes to stare at me all day, but she always earns a laugh. I am homeschooled, and I will graduate in 2025. The DragonStaff, the first of The Fighters of Peace series, is my first published book. There will be several more coming, so stay tuned! I started writing The DragonStaff when I was around ten years old, but I wasn't completely committed to finishing it until a little later. 

I love reading, so when all of my favorite books started to have content that goes against the Bible, I was heartbroken. As a Christian--a follower of Jesus Christ--finding fun books to read that do not contradict Scripture is hard, so I decided I want to do the best I can to change that. I promise that every single book I write will not have any foul language or inappropriate content that goes against the Word of God. This does not mean that my books will be without any type of thrilling action. It means that they will be readable to all, both Christians and non-Christians. I want to be an author that readers and the parents of readers are not concerned about what may be written in the pages of their hands. I want to be a good steward of the gift that the Lord my God has given me. May all glory and all honer go to Him.
